So Now You Want to Sell Your Yome
Happy May – You’ve made it through the winter, and now the hint of green is visible as you look at the trees outside. You have now decided that’s it – I am moving to Sarasota! (Hopefully you have come down, we have showed you our beautiful area, and you have gone back home amazed at what you have discovered!!)
So now you are thinking – “How do I get the most dollars out of my home when I sell?” DECLUTTER DECLUTTER DECLUTTER!!!!!
The real estate market is fierce throughout the whole country – You are probably seeing it where you live now – It is still a seller’s market – So why not take advantage of the ability to get even more for your home – Make it show like a model-
In simple terms – the goal is when someone walks through the front door – all they can say is WOW.
Things are definitely crazy here too. The builders still cannot keep up with the demand, supplies are limited, and so to try and slow down the market – they keep raising prices too. ( We are seeing re-sales as a better value right now )–
Things will change, as they always do.
For our folks who have been coming down our mission is still to explore the area, visit the communities, know what feels good, so when things open up again they are ready to go and take advantage.
We look forward to showing you all the areas being developed including Waterside, which is now open, with restaurants and farmers market lots of fun.
Getting back to selling your home – see these steps to assure a great advantage –
BUT more important, don’t sell until you have someplace to go!!

As you think about putting your home on the market,
a few hints:
You never get a second chance to make a first impression!
Become your buyer – If you weren’t moving to Paradise, would you buy your home at the price you are asking?
What do you see when you pull up to your home?
Does the first impression say: Wow- this home looks pristine?
As they walk through your home, can your buyer envision each room for his or her purpose? Is there plenty of room for their belongings? Empty every top shelf ( do this in every cabinet and shelf in the house). You have to pack any way, this will give you a head start. Whether you are dreaming of downtown or dockside, water view or your favorite fairway, our commitment is to help you discover your ultimate lifestyle.

Declutter-Declutter-Declutter!!
The most important thing to remember is: once you decide to put your home on the market, it becomes a house and not your home – (you have to pack anyway, so why not get started early)
Look at your house though buyer’s eyes.
What do you see when you pull up to your house and park your car? Curb appeal is so important. You only get one chance to make a first impression.
Does the front of your home have an inviting and welcoming allure? Are your bushes and other plant life trimmed and tidy? Arrange a few pots of colorful plants and frame the entry way to invite your perspective buyer into their new home.
As you enter, are you greeted with a neutral fresh scent? You want to appeal to all the senses for greatest effect.
Is your paint color neutral so others can visualize their furniture in the house? As you walk from room to room is everything neat and tidy?
Are your kitchen counters clear? Empty every top shelf, every cabinet, every closet, and anyplace that has a top shelf leave empty. After all – you want to give the illusion of more than enough storage for anyone to need.
