A Note to All During These Crazy Times

We understand the growing concerns you may have regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We want you to know that we are committed to the safety of our clients and team. We recognize that there may be questions about how this impacts the real estate market and your decisions to list or buy; however, it is important to keep in mind that every case needs to be addressed individually.

We value our longstanding relationships with our clients and are always available should you have any questions or concerns.

Well things are definitely changing for all of us. I’m happy to report that construction is going on. Most businesses are beginning to open, and the restaurants are beginning to allow indoor dining at 50% capacity, doing take out and delivery and here we are doing our "social distancing". Masks are part of the “outfit” and most seem to be adapting.

Hopefully the weather is good enough for you to get outside; that is what is our lifesaver!!

A Few Hints

Your mission is to make your home show like a model.

Declutter-Declutter-Declutter!!

The most important thing to remember is: once you decide to put your home on the market, it becomes a house and not your home – (you have to pack anyway, so why not get started early)

Look at your house though buyer’s eyes.

What do you see when you pull up to your house and park your car? Curb appeal is so important. You only get one chance to make a first impression.

Does the front of your home have an inviting and welcoming allure? Are your bushes and other plant life trimmed and tidy? Arrange a few pots of colorful plants and frame the entry way to invite your perspective buyer into their new home.

As you enter, are you greeted with a neutral fresh scent? You want to appeal to all the senses for greatest effect.

Is your paint color neutral so others can visualize their furniture in the house? As you walk from room to room is everything neat and tidy?

Are your kitchen counters clear? Empty every top shelf, every cabinet, every closet, and anyplace that has a top shelf leave empty. After all – you want to give the illusion of more than enough storage for anyone to need.

Hope these few little hints help you get on the right track.
